People often start their therapeutic journey seeking more vitality, connection, and inner freedom. They may sense that something is missing, or that old habits are no longer working. They might find that their thoughts are getting in the way, or that their feelings are becoming overwhelming. Therapy offers a safe environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings with someone who is attuned to your personal experience. I listen with empathy to your spoken words and your silence. As we continue to explore, unnoticed aspects of your experience begin to find expression.
I am a licensed psychoanalyst practicing in New York with extensive experience in treating mental and emotional fatigue, stress, loneliness, fear of failure, intrusive thoughts, self-defeating patterns, and creative blocks. My approach is exploratory, collaborative, and insight oriented. Together, we work through unconscious obstacles to live a life of your own. I welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds, identities, and cultures to my practice. Currently, I am a faculty member at the New York Graduate School of Psychoanalysis and the Center for Modern Psychoanalytic Studies.
